How to send fanmail?

I'm new, so sorry if this sounds stupid. I have the address... but I don't really know what to send. Obviously I'll need an envelope, and I want to write a letter. If I want an autograph, do I have to send my own picture for them to sign?

What does "SASE" mean?

Thanks for dealing with my newbie-ness!

hi Gemma,

most of the time, a celeb will provide their own pic if you dont have one. just be sure to send a large enough SASE(self addressed stamped envelope) thats the envelope the celeb will use to send the pic back to you, I usually use a 9x12
