To LeMon - How dare you call us " Conceited " i am sorry to other members if I am overreacting, but Mr Kennady has years of experiance in autograph collecting he knows what he is talking about.

and Shambler is a very valued member, who in my opinion could easily be a global mod.

Everyone on here has some sort of experiance collecting I suppose... well, except you and the the newbies.

I do not appreciate you making stupid statements/comments on this board about fellow autograph collectors and I for one want you banned and will report you to admin as you do not have a clue what you are talking about. I really don't understand all these newbies coming in, spoiling the site.

I DID NOT MEAN TO OFFEND THE COMMUNITY!
I'M PART OF THIS TOO!
I DON'T GIVE ANYTHING ABOUT KENNEDY'S EXPERIENCE,
I CONTRIBUTE TO ENLARGE THIS SITE BY GIVING MY FEEDBACKS AS WELL (EVEN THOUGH JUST 1 SO FAR), WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS TOTALLY UNFAIR!

DO YOU THINK HE HAS NOT BEEN CONCEITED BY ANSWERING LIKE THAT TO JUST A QUESTION??

I'm being conceited by proving you to be completely and utterly wrong? Do you even know what conceited means?

I changed my mind as you continued to talk rubbish about me.

Being conceited does not mean correcting someone who's incorrect, so no, I'm not conceited.

the coasts of sending a stupid letter to a fan in absolutely nothing compared to the huge budgets they invest every year in a campaign for a movie/tv series/album/whatever

If you collect autographs it doesn't mean you are a show biz top manager...
the autographs are sent by Management Agencies that every year invest an amount of money in this kind of goodies...
This is where you are not quite right. I am not a part of the broadcasting company/label business so I am no exactly sure how this works but what I am sure is this: the company does NOT pay for everything. The celebrity is paid a salary and they pay for what they want too.

That said, sometimes a company (eg, TV show) will have cast/individual photos printed up for the star but I am not sure who pays for them--the company or the star.

Yes, the major A listers, who makes millions, have money to respond to fan mail but not all other celebrity people have lots of money. And it takes a lot to mail even a small something to every fan who writes.

The most agreed upon answer to your question, is it's best to send a SASE - it is most polite.

Enough of the arguing - post has been answered, so I'm locking this as it is not remaining a productive thread.
