Letter size?

I was just wondering what size should be the LOR... I read that it should be small, but what is the usual size? A4? A5?

The letter should preferably be no longer than one A4 page (it would take too long to read if it's pages and pages). {thumb2} It doesn't matter what size paper you write on (A5, A4) although I don't recommend writing on an A1 sized paper! So generally the letter don't have to be 10 pages long (shorter letters are always more meaningful and touching anyways!) and you can write on any size (and colour) paper.
