how many stamps?

this is my first time sending fan mail, & i was wondering how many stamps to use.
it's a 9x12 envelope, with 2 pieces of paper inside, and another 9x12 SASE envelope inside.
how many stamps should i put on the envelope & on the SASE?
& i live in florida - sending to california.

I would put two .42 or forever stamps on the envelope you are sending, and two on your SASE.

On the outer envelope I think you would need 1.00 in stamps. I sent a 9X12 and letter the other day in just a small envelope and it weighed over an ounce (one ounce: 0.83) Two ounces is 1.00. It all depends on what kind and size paper are you sending.

I send a 9x12 envelope, another inside and two pieces if paper. I put 2. .42 forever stamps on both the SASE and the outer envelope
