Sending Personal Items

Unread post by Sig-nature »

Warning: There is a lot of reading in this topic, but please do read it as it will prove valuable info in the future!

When writing to your hero(es) , you are probably aware that you must include a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope). The star will usually have a pile of -pre-signed photographs ready to go, to save them coming in over a week and signed 1-2 autographs they will sign around a thousand to keep the Agency going.

Some/most actors will do the previous, but also visit their agency (or have the photographs delivered to the required location/set). They will then add in the name of the fan so for me they would just have to add 'To shane' above the autograph that they had signed probably months earlier.

This is the best way of requesting autographs, as you will receive your requested signature relatively quickly.

But sometimes, you may want to send something personal, a photograph from your collection, a DVD cover, CD etc. if you want to find a nice image of your desired celebrity, i would advise doing the following:

1. Go to http://www.Google.com or http://www.Google.co.uk

2. type in something like '(celebrity name) fan site' as home made fan sites will often feature galleries featuring High Quality image of stars from photo shoots etc, and HQ images usually print beautifully, and look stunning once signed.

3. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your best to print the image onto Kodak paper, it is the best!
