Yes just write your letter and include a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope), although the BBC do pay for postage (and state this on their website) so they only ask for you to send them a SAE (self addressed envelope). You could also include a picture for the celebrity to sign, but when I write via a TV show I tend not to since they send the cast cards which I really like

Hollyoaks are actually not that good with fanmail to be honest. I have sent about 6 requests to different actors and didn't get a single one back! You see the odd success from there, but it's either when an actor has just started on the show so they don't have much mail, or you occasionally see a success from a more popular character but it has taken almost a year to get back! You can still give it a try though because you might get lucky
