How Much Will My IRC Be Worth Getting A Reply From Canada?

Unread post by Rachel »

Hi guys, I am planning on writing to a Celebrity based in Canada and will be sending IRCs. I'm just wondering how much my IRCs will contribute towards postage individually. I know they cover the minimum of something but is it the minimum cost of a letter sent within Canada that it covers, which I think is 0.54, or the minimum of an overseas letter which I think is $1.64 or around there. Does anyone know..?

Hi,

I don't know really how much its worth in the end, but I do know if you send 2-3 IRCs you should be fine! I'm from Canada and have sent that many overseas and haven't had any trouble receiving my items back.

Best of luck!
Larisie :)

1 IRC is worth all over the world the postage to send a standard envelope to a foreign country.

As LeMon said, a IRC covers the minium cost of sending a letter overseas. So the number of IRC needed will depends on the weight and size of your letter. Say like a A4 size envelope with cardboard would costs 3 IRCs. If yours are not as big as A4, then it will be always save to include 2 instead of 1.
