What is a SASE?

What are those things people are mentioning that they send with their letters? And what do they do?
I just joined.
Also, does anybody know if Kat Von D, Hugh Laurie, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Robert Pattinson, or Peter Facinelli actually reply?

A SASE is a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope. When you send a request, always send one if you would like something back from the celeb.
Your SASE should be large enough the celeb can send you a photo back. If you send your own photo, and only want that one back, just make sure your SASE is big enough for your photo. If you are not sending your own photo, I would recommend a 9x12 SASE, as celebs usually send 8x10 photos, so it's usually always large enough.
As far as who replies:
Kat Von D: Usually yes, you have a good chance.
Hugh Laurie: Not for a while, but worth a shot.
Nikki Sixx: Sorry, no feedback that I know of.
Tommy Lee: Again, no replied I know of.
Robert Pattinson: Great at replying. {thumb2}
Peter Facinelli: Good replier.

It is so the celeb doesnt have to pay postage.

Hugh Laurie Sorry but he sends out pre prints TTM you can request them using Studio FanMail (SFM)
Nikki Sixx No successes I've heard of from the address in the database but you can try Motley Crue via venue
Tommy Lee Havn't seen any successes from him either
Robert Pattinson Great with fanmail!
Peter Facinelli Great with fanmail as well!
