Is this an acceptable way of storing autos?....
I simply keep them in the original envelope that they were sent to me in, in my bedside cabinet! Is this ok?? Will the auto's get damaged?

Are they in their original envelopes or some sort of protective sheet? I keep mine in a drawer in their original envelopes. Mine have stayed fine that way for years. {thumb2}

I think it's better to put them in acid free plastic sleeves. I think the paper of some envelopes can in the long run damage the autograph.

The envelopes will damage your autographs in the long-run. It's better to put them in acid-free, pvc-free, archival safe sleeves. The acid in the envelopes will eventually eat away at the photo's. I'm only talking in the long-run though. They should be fine for a while. It's up to you!

Yeah, you should try getting some acid-free sleeves to hold them in. I do this with all of the autographs that I have, along with the signed baseball and football cards that I own.
They are not that expensive.
