Writing to Someone More than Once

Unread post by AutographWanter »

I wrote to someone back in March to an address that I'm unsure was working at the time and I never got it back. It was an international and I forgot to send IRCs with the request. :? I want to write again but do I write as if I've never written to them or should I mention that I've written to them before? There is a possiblity that they've received the letter, but since I didn't sent any IRCs, I'm not too sure if I'll get it back.

Thanks! :mrgreen:

Hi there! :) I've written a few celebrities more than once. Actually, with Elisabeth Hasselbeck I told her that I wrote her quite a couple of times. She sent me a very sweet letter apologizing, and a month later three autograph pictures. So I think you'll be fine writing them again, and maybe even mentioning you wrote them before. Then they'll know you're a true fan, not just out to get their autograph and sell it. :mrgreen:

Sure, you can write more than once. Just keep it at a respectable amount, don't go over-sending (spamming) them. I have written to several celebrites more than once, whether it be because I hadn't recieved a response for a while, or I didn't like the photo they sent/I sent. You don't have to mention it in the letter, chances are even if they saw your first letter, they won't remember you. Good luck! {up}

Although I have already recieved responses from all 4 of the following, I am about to resend to Mythbusters, Bear Grylls, Zach Galifianakis and Anna Kournikova, because I didn't like the photo's they sent, or I found a better send than the last one I sent.

Hey!
You can write again ;) There's no problem.
Also I usually mention that I wrote to them before but that's your decision. Some people do, some don't so you can decide if you will do that.
Good luck! {thumb2}

Hiya,

I've never done this before(rote to someone more than once), but yes, go for it. There is no harm in trying. {thumb2}

Nope, I've written Miley Cyrus and Dakota Fanning quite a few times and never had any issues. I'm sure that they get so much fanmail a day that it's hard to keep track. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the suggestions! I briefly mentioned it in the begininning of my letter. Hopefully I can get a reply from the address I'm trying. {thumb2}

I have written to people more than once. Just make it a reasonable amount of time between letters.
