Hi There,
I'm kinda new to this, my goal is not going to be collecting many, but rather have my favorites.
I would love once of Nicolas Cage, got the address, but read it's a good idea to add International Reply coupons and own pictures.
2 questions about this:
1. I read on sticky posts that some agencies don't like this, only use their own; how can we know for sure?
2. The Internation Reply coupons, is that the best way to go or do you send the wrong signal with this? "I like a letter back and I'll pay for it coz maybe you can't afford it?"
3. Can you request the autograph to be made out to somebody (I suspect they don't do this, they have probably a whole stock of pre-signed ones if any)... but is adding this request somtimes a reason for them to simply refuse returning you anything?
Appreciate the help
Cheers
Sven

Re: Correct approach for first send
Hi Sven,
I don't mean to burst your bubble, But Nicholas cage does not sign TTM Authentically. The only way to get him is in-person. You can though write to this email address and they'll send you a 5x7 Autopened photo
nicholascage&studiofanmail.com
In reply to your other question, I typically send cash instead of IRC', but if your in another country that might not work.
And you do get a better reply if you send in your own photos. And if you aks them in your letter to please personalize to (your name) most will do that. {thumb2}
Hope this helps. Any other questions feel free to ask!!

You can send your own photo if there is a particular photo that you would liked signed. I don't see why it would cause any trouble. In some cases, Sending your own photo might increase your chances of a success.svenver wrote:1. International Reply Coupons are one way to pay for postage. You can also get a hold of some of the countries stamps that you are sending to. In this case, I would think it would be US stamps. You can buy or trade for US stamps in the Autographs For Sale / Exchange or post a topic in the Wanted forum. It wouldn't offend the person because you are just being courteous.svenver wrote:2. In your letter of request, you can write that you would like it if the autograph could be dedicated to someone. This doesn't guarantee that it will be, but it's worth a shot. The celeb will not refuse to send something because you asked for a dedication, so don't worry! {thumb2}svenver wrote:3. As RYAN J. said, Nicholas Cage sends out Autopens through studiofanmail. You can request one by emailing the company (nicholascage&studiofanmail.com) with your address.
Good luck with your collection!
