Writing Letters?

Unread post by IzzyFranchise »

Hey Everyone...Had a question about doing the whole autographs TTM thing.

Is it better to type out a letter or hand write one?

Do you actually ask for an autograph? How do you ask?

Any other tips or ideas on the topic would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

Typing out may be neater but handwriting the letter make it more sincere. :)

I say "I hope it's no problem, but I'd love to have or autograph!" or "I'd appreciate it if you could sign the items I've enclosed!"

Hoped I helped.

I don't know if typing vs handwriting makes a lot of difference, but I usually handwrite mine. Then on the other hand, I got some really nice stationary so I have printed a few (especially if I was in a hurry).

If you type your letters, make SURE it doesn't sound like a form letter, make it special for them.

Another consideration is to make it readable for the celebrity: if they can't read it, they can't really respond-handwritten or typed. :shock:

It's all down to personal preferance really - I always handwrite mine as it's just what I prefer to do. I just politely ask in my final paragraph about the autograph.

Good luck! {thumb2}

I ALWAYS handwrite my letters, unlees of course it's an Email. I Beleive you get a better reply when you handwrite them as it shows the celeb that you took the time to sit down and write them a nice note instead of using a quick form letter on the computer and just replacing names and various titles.

First...I'm new here. Hadn't gotten a chance to look around and needed some quick answers.

Second...don't be a jerk. Everyone else has been nice.

It would have been a whole lot quicker to check the stickies, then people could have got round to answering questions which haven't already been answered a million times.
