How long is a reasonable wait VV?

Hello! The pusseycat Dolls performed in my home city in late May, and I sent VV their. I am still yet to receive a reply after two and a half months. Does this mean I will get no response? Because usually vv replies seem to take a fortnight

Hi Jaffer,

I look at VV the same way I look at if you were sending to a fan mail address, just because you are sending to them directly doesn't mean that they will get back to you sooner. Some artists may answer all fanmail once their tour is over because they are so busy and don't have time to get to it. It doesn't particular mean you won't get a response. Just be patient.

Also, did the venue you sent to forward fanmail? Some venues don't, and that could also be why you haven't gotten a response.

As Annie said, did you check if the venue you sent to passed on fanmail?

If the venue did pass the mail on, some people wait a few years for VV requests and some only a few days. It all depends on who you are writing to

I was thinking the same exact question. Because I sent to David Archuleta VV (I actually called the place and they said they passed fanmail) on March 14th and never recieved anything. I sent to Demi Lovato for a second time vv to the Prudential Center about a month and a half ago and never recieved anything. Luckily, anyway I already have her autograph. I also sent to Taylor Swift for her tour this year about 3 months ago and have not recieved anything. Although, mostly everyone who sent VV in the US have not recieved anything back yet.
