UK Stamp Help!

Unread post by Paigey012 »

Hey {up}
I am writing on behalf or sndfan and myself.

sndfan wrote:I'm not sure how many UK stamps I would need to have a larger 9 x 12 inch envelope returned to the US...I could use your expertise.

Please could you help us out?
Thanks!

Hello,

Because you are sending it in an A4 envelope you will have to send it as Airmail Printed Papers

As long as it weighs less than 100g, you can send it too America for £1.68.
To send it back again will cost $1.24 from America to Britain

I hope this helps :D

PP is for magazines, books etc so not sure if photos are allowed. Of course it does work out cheaper, it's up to you if you want to risk it :) Make sure you write "Par Avion/By Airmail" and "Printed Papers" on the envelope if you do.

If not, regular Airmail prices are:

100g £2.80
80g £2.31
60g £1.82
40g £1.35

I was talking to BossC about this several days earlier, says £1.35 is the right amount.
