How long should I wait??

I know this has been posted but I forget where..........How long should I wait for VV ( concerts) I sent mine out 2 weeks ago and another person already got their VV success but I didn't.Why would one person get a success and I didn't.Did they not pass it on?? Did the artist ignore it?? Sorry for asking questions but I am getting antsy!

Although VV is generally a quicker way to get a success, some can take as long as sending via the celebs managent/agency. The celeb may have responded to as many as they could while on the road, but then take the rest back with them and add it to their pile of regular fanmail. If the other person got their success today however then it's a bit silly to worry already as you have a good chance of getting it in the next few days.

I know it's hard, but it's all about patience. Someimes with v.v. artists might wait until the end of the tour to answer fan mail or answer a few here and there. I've had experiences where people got a celeb within a few weeks but it took that same celeb a year to get back to me (even thought I sent before the one's who got successes). Patience is key in with this hobby. {thumb2}

I have never received a success VV from a concert venue. It's a very disorganized business, putting on a stadium show and all, and I'd imagine some mail gets lost in the clutter. Just be patient and hope for the best!

Writing VV doesn't guarentee a quick response. It could take far longer than writing via agency. It depends on the celebrity your writing to. I would wait at least a few months.
