Re: Presorted First Class Stamps
I think that the presorted stamps are used by companies that mail large bunches. I use the normal first class stamps if they have no postmark but I think that kind is something special, and I wouldn't risk losing my responce by using them.

From the USPS website:
I'm not sure, but I think re-using a pre-sorted First Class stamp might be considered a fraudulent act, since they are actually worth 25 cents or so. I wouldn't take that chance.Discount mail is your best option if you mail in volume. For discounted First-Class Mail, you must have 500 or more pieces per mailing and you must do some additional work to make your mail easier for the postal service to handle. The work you do in terms of preparing and sorting your mail can lower your postage costs. The postage depends on the characteristics of your mailpiece. You must pay an annual mailing fee at each facility where you enter mail. Mailpieces must weigh less than 13 ounces.

Re: Presorted First Class Stamps
At minimum, they could return it to you for insufficient postage. I just don't think it's worth it to try to save 44 cents. If you were re-using a regular First Class stamp, they probably would never catch it. But a pre-sorted stamp they probably would.
