what is a sase?

Hi I'm sending my letter to Ralph Macchio the kid from karate kid, but I keep reading about sase and all that? what isit? Im just sending a letter and something that I want him to sign do I need to put anything else in there to get a reply:S from england posting to Los anglees?!thanksgodbless!!
