The basic one ounce letter postage from US to UK is now 84 Cents due to the recent stamp increase. But I'm not sure of the weight of your letter. Also if you do not have UK stamps it may not be a bad idea to include $1 or $2 US DOllars to help with the stamp fee.

Here is a link to the postage calculator on the USPS Website:

Hope this helps!

I would be inclined to suggest that you add a wee bit extra onto whatever the calculator tells you for the weight as Julia is great with her fans and frequently puts in extra signed items.

Hi all {up}

Robin is totally right. Julia tends to send several photos / cards / etc each time, so the extra postage would be a good idea.

Ms Winter is a fabulous signer and really generous with her fans!

Dunno if this helps but I have just sent her a letter and 3 photos with a SASE and it was ok for a first class stamp. Dunno how it works in america but I guess it can't be much differnt to over here.

Hi *Tasha* {up}

Are you in the UK? If so, a 1st class stamp (30p) would probably be OK as it is domestic mail. However, our friend is in the USA, so the postage is significantly more!

Same as you posting from UK to the USA would cost you more, in fact £1.42 for a 60g letter!
