Over here, you can buy International Reply Coupons from the US Post Office website. Is there something similar in the UK? Our post offices seem to be phasing them out, too. I wonder why.

You can still buy IRC's Here

but only from the main one i get mine from leeds city centre,

If you get reallly stuck PM and i can always get some for you if you post the money over,

So far I have been lucky, while I have mainly been contacting UK celebrities, I get a few US stamps in swaps with penpals there, and use those to write to celebs in the USA as well (well to put on the SAE. Its a lot more convenient for the celebs/ agents, as all they need to do is drop it in the post instead of having to exchange the IRCs.

As for the post offices not supplying IRCs, I find one local one doesnt, and another does. (but then I also find that postage prices for the same things vary wildly between post offices, whatever the Royal Mail website says

would u say $3 on a Enevelope for a reply off just a photo is enough?

What do you mean $3 on an envelope?

If you wish to purchase US stamps via eBay (or some other means), use the table at http://www.usps.com/prices/first-class- ... prices.htm to calculate how many you will need. Each US stamp is currently worth $0.44.

Make sure to take into account the size of your envelope, approx. weight and whether or not it is machineable i.e. if it's got stiff board back it is not machineable, so carries an extra surcharge.

I mean placing $3 on a addressed enevelope for a reply enough?

I Couldn't Get IRC Either

. I Sent Out my Very FIRST Letters Yesterday

. And I Had My American Friend Send me Some Stamps over

So i popped them inside my letter

.. just one thing i Hope i put enough on LOL!

can some one tell me if this is right

I put On 4 American Flag Stamps and One with the Bell on .. will i get it back?

It depends on how heavy the envelope is/how many pictures you sent/requested. I just mailed off a letter to David Tennant and it took 7 US stamps.
