8x10

Unread post by Ruslana »

In some feedbacks somebody received a 8x10 autographed picture. Are these photos 8x10 cm? Or inches? How many cm are 1 inch? Well, I live in Germany and there we don't use inches or something like that. I always send an 11cm x 16cm envelope, because it's cheaper and I wanna be sure that the photo fits in.

In february I'll go to London and I want to buy some stamps for SASEs. How much postage is it for a standard letter from the UK to Germany? And how much postage is it for a national standard letter from somewhere in the UK to somewhere in the UK? Which is the maximum weight and size for a standard letter?

Sorry for so many questions.

Hope you can help me!

Hi Ruslana
How many cm are 1 inch?
1 inch = 2.54 cm

This makes an 8x10 photo about 20x25 cm.

I'm not 100% sure about postage costs in the UK, so I'll leave that question up to someone else :|

All the best with your collecting :D

Hi Ruslana {up}

Postage within the UK is 21p for second class (2-7 days), or 30p for first class (next day to 98% of mainland addresses).

Postage to anywhere in the EU from the UK is
10g £0.42
20g £0.42
30g £0.42
40g £0.60
60g £0.78

Hope this helps, but if you need any more UK / overseas postal prices check out the Royal Mail website: http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/cont ... aId=400347

Hope this helps!

Has the size of an envelope anything to do with the postage in Britain?

Can somebody tell me the postage of the USA?

Thanks in advance :) !

I don't think the size of the envelope relates to the amount of postage required in the UK, only the weight of the envelope.
