I always send pictures, and sometime even a pen. If they don't use the pictures then they just send them back. I use photo paper I think thats the most economical.

Hi brc215 :D

Welcome to the forum :)

When you write to a celebrity, try to keep your letter to 1 page at most. No one wants to be reading a long letter when they have so many others to go through, nor do you want to ramble on and on.

What I would suggest you writing is maybe a quick introduction of yourself - name and where your from. You should then talk about their work, what you like about it, what is your favourite bit of work etc.

Mention that it would be nice if you could kindly get an autograph off them, thank them for reading your letter and wish them all the best.

You can send a photo or other memorbilia for the celebrity to sign if you wish. Otherwise, you can ask for something instead. Don't forget to include a stamped, self-addressed envelope with enough postage to have something returned to you.

Just with anything you send out, only send out what you can afford to lose. You don't want to be sending out something really expensive only to never see it again.

Hey there!!

I agree with nowandagain with introducing yourself!!That's what I do!! :D I usually compliment the celebrity on their films and maybe even tell the celebrity which film is my favorite!!

In asking for an autograph just kindly ask them if whenever they get the chance if he/she could please send you an autographed picture!!If you want to increase your chances then you should send a picture and if you have a certain picture that you want personally signed!!Or you can just ask if they could send you one!! :mrgreen: :D And last but not least,don't forget to thank the celebrity for reading your letter!!Good luck!!! {thumb2}

I hope this helped!!!

Stacey
