Stamps!
I'm planning on sending fan mail to Marcia Cross. However, I am mailing from the UK, should I place 1st class stamps on the envelope or do I need some kind of special stamp because its being sent to the USA? All help appreciated

Re: Stamps!
Most (if not all) countries have a reciprical agreement where-in (they accept mail with the correct postage from the country of orgin. You will need to do something about the return postage (from the US) but mail from the UK will be delivered here. I guite often mail to the UK with US postage and include cash (I know, it's not recommended) to pay for return mail. Thee may, however be a slight difference in cost, check with your local post office to see if that is the case and if so how much the difference is.
I have been asked many times about trading / selling some of my autographs. I am sorry but my collection is not and will not be for sale.

hi i live in england and im always posting to the US the easiest way is to go up to the desk with your letter and tell them u want airmail and they sort it out for you, for the return envelope you can either purchase US forever stamps on line or send 2 international reply coupons which are found at large post offices

Re: Stamps!
Any UK stamps can be used to send a letter abroad as long as the total value covers the postage there. Weigh your letter and consult http://sg.royalmail.com/portal/rm/Price ... ricingcalc or do as swiftndbieber suggests and take it to your post office.
You need to bear in mind that you cannot use UK stamps on your return envelope. For this you will need to purchase IRC (International Reply Coupons, place inside your envelope) or US stamps. There are multiple topics on the forum dedicated to this.
