IRC online purchase?

Unread post by arlette »

I have a question about International Reply Coupons. Since I live in The Netherlands, I can't buy them anymore, since they stopped selling them here 8 years ago or something. Is there a possibility to purchase those coupons online? Because you probably have a lot more chance to get something back with those coupons, right?

Thanks in advance!

You can always try e-bay (but make sure you buy valid ones and not some old collector items) or exchange them here.

Even better than IRCs are stamps. May I ask what country are you planning to send to?

Obtaining the stamps for the countries you mentioned may be easier than you think. These links are from the selling/trading forum on this site.

UK stamps:

US stamps:

French stamps--I have not seen anyone selling them, but perhaps the person who started this thread may be able to help you:

Stamps are better to use, I do not think they are more difficult to get. Just make sure you buy from a good (honest) seller when you buy.

RobertaRight is, appropriately, quite right. The US have not stopped accepting or selling IRCs.
Favourite: David Tennant IP, John Barrowman IP, Patrick Stewart IP, Catherine Tate VV.
Newest: John Simm IP, Suranne Jones IP, Jonathan Groff IP.

I can be wrong, sometimes  I just know how it is. At my local post office they do not even know what IRC is. I once used it for paying postage and the lady looked shocked, as she has never seen one before. One must check more sources

Stamps are better, good luck
