Hello everyone
After many years of trying without success, when you post in another part of this forum my list of most wanted autographs, a private bythe95 sent me a link where I could buy an autograph from James Marsters, browsing the web.
Here you have the Link: http://www.tenthplanetevents.co.uk/auto ... -214-c.asp
I found that they announce events of all kinds of series and soon in London there will be a series Hub 6 that James Marsters will attend.
Yesterday I sent them an e-mail preguntandolse if there was any way to get the signature of the actor if you can not attend the event.
They very kindly answered me today, your e-mail said this:
"Thank you for your email, your English is very good. We are holding a convention ‘Hub 6’ 20-22 May 2011 , James Marsters is attending. You can place a pre order for a genuine signed autograph from him, you can also choose to have this personally dedicated to yourself. If you go to the pre order section on the website, I have put a link below for you. You can place your order and we will send out to you your picture or pictures a couple of days after the show.

If you click into his picture you will be able to add any dedications you wish.
If I can help in any other way, please email me.
Kind Regards
10th Planet Events Limited

So I risk it now before I ask for advice.
How secure is this way of buying the autograph of an actor?
I would actually doing reifero to authenticate the signature that would receive? is that it scares me do something crazy and get a PP or the picture may not be authentic 100x100 is placed only see the signature guarantees the authenticity but I do not know ... I would like to know as reliable is this way before taking the risk.
Would greatly appreciate your help.

News:
In responding to my first E-mail him again to send another with a lot of questions.
I put here the questions I asked and they answered me.
What do you think?
For starters ... What ensures that the signature is authentic? not misunderstand me, is a fear that I have to not be there to see how the firm, which in some places you attached a certificate of authenticity or something?.
She replied: We collect the autograph directly ourselves, we can send you a certificate of authenticity as well.
I can choose a specific type of photography? I mean, the sign could choose a picture as his character Spike or has to be one of his character in the convention?
She replied: You can send in your own item or photograph to us to get signed, or we will get your autograph on a picture provided at the convention
He really can dedicate to photography?
She replied: At the convention if the actor has time he or she will dedicate. If you choose a dedication and we are unable to get it for you we will refund you the dedication cost.
Again, sorry so many questions, but knowing that after ten years maybe I can get a signature of Mr. Marsters has me very excited.
She replied: You can be absolutely sure that this will be an authentic genuine autograph collected by ourselves. We will send your order back to you signed for international.

While I'm not really sure what you need to know, I think I do.
If it is a paid signing event where the celebrity is attending you should be okay ordering an autographed picture from the event organizer. These types of things are usually safe. Sometimes they will let you send in your own items or give you the option of purchasing a picture from them. It is usually cheaper to send in your own item.
You should have no problem getting a real autograph from the celebrity.

Re: Please Please James Marsters Help
James Marsters just signing in person or event for fans.
Then you browse a page I found an upcoming event to be held in London and that he will attend as a guest.
On that page that sold tickets to attend had a contact area, I will send an e-mail asking if there was any way to get a photograph signed by the guest if he could not attend the event.
They answered me that it was possible that I paid for a signature and dedication of this actor and they took care of conseguirmela when outside the event.
I said I could send a picture in particular I would like to sign, or they would be responsible to sign one that has on these events.
They also said I could ask for an autograph in concrete and if he could not devote the picture I will return me this amount.
What I wonder is.
How much of those purchases are reliable?.
Is it safe to buy an autographed picture that way or are at risk as ebay?
I'm afraid to pay and get a pp or otherwise be deceived so I would like to know your opinions, if they would run the risk or not etc.

Personally, I think this is much more reliable than ebay. James Marsters should definately be there (I've seen a lot of adverts for the event), and Tenth Planet have a history of running these sorts of events - if James is there doing a signing, I think it is VERY VERY unlikely that the would give you a PP instead of an authentic. You'd be paying the price others would for an authentic autograph (possibly a little more), why would they give you a PP and the in-person people get an authentic? I've never been to a Tenth Planet event myself, but they have history with Showmasters, and I trust Showmasters.
Looking at their website they get autos from the Showmasters events (Collectormania, LFCC...) - at those events, when a guest hasn't had anyone queueing up to see them, they have often been signing items anyway - I think its likely these are the pre-ordered ones. But, i'm not SM crew or a Tenth Planet employee, so I don't know exactly how this works.
If you do go ahead with it - hope you're happy with it! I met James Marsters a couple of years ago - he's absolutely LOVELY!

Re: Please Please James Marsters Help
When I contacted them the girl who answered my e-mail said I had to pre-order.
He answered questions as they would for coneguir the autograph as I expressed my doubts and my fears that it was not an authentic.
I also attached a link where you could buy james firms in that event as well as tickets to attend.
For example, if the She attended not return me the money or that if I paid for an autograph and my picture could be signed only return me the money for the dedication.
Had a section to request an autograph in concrete and a link to part so that I attached a link to the picture that I would get signed.
OMG! I do not know what to do, I love James for years.
echoamaru: really are fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet him, say he is great with his fans at events
