Sports Team Fan Packs

When you email or write to a sports team for the
purpose of receiving a fan pack...

Are you supposed to just come right out and request
one (nicely, of course) or are you supposed to hint
around for one?

i always just say i was wondering if you could send me an autograph/fan pack. unless i know they just sent fan packs then i just say fan packs
put i got an autograph from the 76ers. so thats why i say autograph/fan pack
