Firstly, I don't think celebrities will intentionally ignore some people's letters and reply to others. They don't know who you are personally, and will not pick and choose whoever they wish to reply to.

You mentioned earlier that you had seen 3 successes from the address you sent a letter to, including one that was sent the day after yours. Perhaps Clive was responding to mail he received up to a certain date. Given the time it takes a letter to travel overseas, could the other mail that was sent a day after yours arrived earlier? With any mail that he didn't respond to, he probably would still have it (either with an assistant or whomever,) so don't worry! He'll probably go through it eventually.

However, did you send an SASE (SAE & IRC's) along with your letters? Sometimes celebrities won't return anything unless you've actually sent one with your request. You did mention semi-SASE...what do you mean by that?

It doesn't hurt to try again. Third time might be lucky for you . I don't recommend you mentioning that you had sent 2 letters previously though (it may sound like that you're an autograph collector and not a fan.) Just write your letter how you normally would, perhaps make it a bit interesting as Clive would probably get a lot of other mail.

Well, like nowandagain said, I don't think anyone would ignore you on purpose (unless you wrote a really dreadful letter lol)

I definitely think you should try again, ignoring all requests. Don't mention you wrote before and just write a usual letter. But, include a full (semi? What do you mean by that?) SASE and a picture to get signed. There are quite a lot of celebrities that just won't reply if you don't send one of those so that could be the reason.

Definitely give it another shot. Third time will probably be lucky for you!

He'll probably still have your letter somewhere, but don't worry too much about it. You may even get a response from him eventually from one you sent ages ago. Who knows?

I don't think 3 photos would have been a problem. At the very least, he would have signed one and returned the rest if he felt that 3 was too many. Some celebrities will do that.

I now understand what you mean by "semi SASE." It has been known that a number of celebrities will add a bit of extra postage on a SASE if required, or even have letters that have gotten through without sufficent postage. I don't think that would be the problem as to why you didn't get anything back. I actually got a letter yesterday from someone in the US with 80c of postage on the envelope (when there should be 84c.)

Hmm...this may have been because the person may have been in the same country as where Clive was (i.e. cheaper postage - but I could be wrong!)
