It seems like every holiday season, I get somebody's misplaced mail. Last year I received somebody's mail from Texas to Ohio, another year I got someone's mail from Seattle to Seattle, and I live in New York.

Requests sent to a sports personality is almost always sent to the former player's home address. There is no one to hold fanmail. That's why it is generally a good idea to lay off until after Christmas, for the obvious reasons. Personally, I think it is bad taste to send at this time anyway.

I sent out my last request about a week ago until after new years only because it would be pointless to send anything right now,but as far as getting back autos in december i think it's a good time because celebs have time off and time to check mail and agents and managers often wanna clean up the fanmail before the end of the year and also celebs are probably feeling in the xmas spirit and more likely to read letters and sign stuff... {up}

WOW!! I don't think I have ever got mail THAT wrong addressed! Sometimes I get a neighbors mail and one time I got a letter addressed to a street name close to mine but that is about it

I have traditionally sent very few requests in December but, having more time on my hands (I do not have any end of year reports to prepare) I have sent about 20 this year.
I have been asked many times about trading / selling some of my autographs. I am sorry but my collection is not and will not be for sale.
