I heard that Cristiano Ronaldo broke up with Nereida Gallardo since he got his ankle surgery and is now resting at home in north Lisbon, Portugal and will return to UK in 3 weeks time and so if i sent him fanmail to the ManU address like in June 20th, and still havent gotten it yet (i live in Canada) so when do you think I will receive it since he is recovering from his ankle surgery....I am desperately worried because I spent $1.60 Canadian and I hope it get it soon! Hopefully under 3 months. How long will you think I get his autograph since I didn't include an IRC, SAE, SASE, LOR, or anything of that kinda and just a fan letter...?

He's only going to return to the squad in October. That's if he's staying with us or moving to Real, so I wish the ungrateful fool would make up his mind.
Maybe he'll catch up some fanmail when he returns to the UK in three weeks, as you say.

Just be patient. No-one can tell you when you're going to receive a success, because it depends on when the player wants to, or can sign for you. I sent a request to him in March and have had nothing back - but I know to wait at least six months before worrying about getting nothing back.

Always try send an SAE, at least.

ok but why would he want to move to real madrid in spain...i mean manchester united is pretty good...they won...and plus, its not the money real madrid is going to pay him that matters the most just to get transferred to a team that didnt win tho...but if he is the good guy, he'd probably stay in ManU and not move to Real Madrid...and p.s: wut if he moves to real madrid? what will happen to all our fanmail? will we get an RTS or not receive anything back...?

I sent to him as a last chance to get him, in case he leaves. Sent a picture / SASE etc to make life easy.. hopefully when he returns on the 28th he'll be willing to reply...

Don't worry too much, just be patient. {thumb2} He's usually quite good with fanmail, I remember I got mine within 2 months, which is pretty good since I live in South Africa. As Shambler said, he's only returing to the squad in October (now that's if he stays with Man Utd, which I sooo hope! But unfortunately I think he's going to Real... ) so if he stays, he'll probably sign some autographs then.

I have no idea, but Man Utd probably won't have any signed clubcards then so I don't think you'll have much luck then. But not too worry, if he does pick up his mail, he'll sign. {thumb2} I remember I've sent to Cannavaro just before he left Juventus for Real Madrid and I never got a response (ok, but Juventus never writes back! :mad: ). So I think it depends on whether he gets his mail. But he hasn't even made a choice yet so there's nothing to worry about, just give it some more time!

P.S. To Michelle (Shambler): Have you written to Karim Benzema? I'd like to know as I would love to write to him but I won't be able to get French stamps very soon... I'm wondering if I'll manage with only a SAE? Thanks! {thumb2}

rockchic95 - I don't why anyone would want to leave United, but he has been saying he'd like to move to Real since 2006. I don't know why he signed a contract to keep him at United until 2010 if he had intentions of breaking it, and at least a lot of managers have come out and completely blasted him for being ungrateful to Sir Alex, and for making that stupid comment about feeling like a 'slave'. If he chooses to leave best of luck to him, but he should take note of how downhill other footballer's careers go after leaving United, e.g David Beckham....


Lizanne - I'd love to write to Benzema too, but he seems to be far too 'hit and miss'. By looking at all the feedback on here, it seems if you send at least one IRC, and/or your own photo, you stand a better chance of getting a reply. Perhaps you should just give it a shot with only an SAE?! I always try my luck on English clubs with just an SAE, but I'm not sure if other international clubs are as courteous to pay for postage . I think I'll wait until he moves to United one day to get his auto, he says he definitely will in a couple of years best of luck if you try! {thumb2}

Hmm, I'm going to the post office next week so I might try with only a SAE for now, but if I don't get any response when others do, I'll try to get an IRC and photo and resend. {thumb2} I so hope Benzema joins United, they're the best club! It would probably make up if we lose Ronaldo... I've never really liked Real Madrid! :mad:

Hey, I live like one block away from Loftus but I don't have any tickets yet. You should let me know if you'll go to meet the players then I'll go too! But I think it will be very crowded, there's always a huge crowd when I wait for Rugby players there. Do you know the squad who came to SA? I only know there's no Ronaldo.
