I want to send a request to several people in the UK (I live in the USA) Do I have to include IRC's? What kind of stamps do I use to get the request there. I need all the information!

This has been asked countless times...please use the Search button next time {thumb2}.
Now to your question:
To send a normal, legal-sized envelope (an 8.5x11 paper tri-folded) it is 94c/. There is a special stamp for this as well. However, anything bigger I usually add a Forever/42c/ stamp.
You don't HAVE to do anything!! But no, IRCs are ideal, but the stamp I've been getting most back from my UK requests have been 81p. So if you're having trouble finding IRCs such as I am having right now!, you can send atleast $2 USD. You should send atleast $2 because remember that the UK currency is practically cut inhalf for us. So if you only send $1, you're really sending .5 pounds!
If at all possible, you could try to order UK stamps online (I've never done so...), or try to exchange our currency for theres. But if not, I have gotten successes back with atleast $2 USD!
Good luck!

I actually went online and bought stamps from the different coutries so that I have stamps to put on the return envelope. But before I did that I tried to include IRCs unless I didn't have any then I would send a couple dollars for postage. It's worked pretty well.
