How far ahead do you send a Via Venue?

I want to send a request to a singer for a August 2 showing is that too late if I send a letter out tomorow?? I live in WI and the performence is in NC.
Or I could send a request in IL for a August 8th showing.

You'd want it to arrive about 3 days before the showing i would have thought..

you can usually send anywhere in the US in around 3 days, I think if you send tomorrow it will make it
