So when I sent my letters requesting autographs I didn't use a SASE.
Is that okay, or should I try to do a SASE letter next time?

I always try to use an SASE because it gives you a better chance for a response. It does get expensive but I limit my requests to just a couple of week.

I´m still using only SAE and...I still get something back :D

I agree with the above post - to send a SASE, thus paying for postage, is considered polite as you want something from the celebrity. {thumb2} But, of course, there are some celebrities who are happy to pay for postage too, recent celebs I got who sent their own envelopes with postage paid include Charlie Cox, Ben Barnes (before he started sending out secretarials) and Robert Pattinson.

i feel bad not paying for postage, but i am only 14 and i can't afford to pay for postage for both ways.

I always send a SASE, basically I think it may increase my chances of a reply and IMO its more manily to send one lol

you're only 14? wow i thought you were older! you're very mature and i know what that's like, i started collecting at 12 and had to mooch my poor mom for stamps. but thanks i hope i get some back too!
