Has anyone ever included a photo/picture of himself?

For example I thought about to print a picture of myself at the bottom of the letter, perhaps next to my signature!? Maybe the celebrities would be glad to see to whom they send their autographs and it could be more likely to get a reply?

But what will happen if your request get into the wrong hands? If so, they have your address as well as your photo!

What is your opinion???

I think that some celebs may be glad for a little more personal approach. I'd definitely do it when sending letters to your all-time favorites.

As for the abuse question - hey, we live in a digital world. Nobody is safe anymore.

I think there's nothing wrong with sending a little photo of yourself to someone! {thumb2} I pasted a little headshot of myself ( ) at the bottom of my letters I sent to actors Josh Duhamel and Charlie Cox, and I got a great personal reply from both of them. So yes, I actually believe sending a little ID pic of yourself adds a more personal touch to the letter, they can see you're a big fan and you might get a nice response back.

That sounds really good! I think I will include such pictures of myself in future too, since it is a cool feeling to know that there could be the chance that your favourite celebrity remember your face when you meet him on the street one day lol

But as Reav said I will only do this when sending letters to my really all-time favourites, of course!!!

Cool! I also sent a request to Charlie Cox 3 months ago (without a picture ) but I am still waiting for a reply ...

"Stardust" is the one and only reason for me to write him {thumb2} . Until this movie, he was an absolute unknown for me but in "Stardust" his performance convinced me from the first moment he appeared on the screen!!!
The same goes for Claire Danes {love}.

I dont send a photo, I did once (to a football player) but never got a reply so didnt send any again lol.
