Will this increase postage?

I read on another autograph collecting group that writing DO NOT BEND on the envelope will increase postage price. I've never heard this before, but I was wondering if anyone knew if this was true. Thanks!

I have a stamp that says that that I put on all my bigger stuff and have never paid any extra for postage.

I write that one all the envlopes I send, and I've never had to pay extra!
