Postage and Envelope Contents

If I use a 9x12 envelope, send 1 letter, 2 photos, and a SASE...from th US to the US.. How much postage should I use? I have been using 3 stamps on each letter but now I'm thinking that that is too much. Should I use 2 stamps on each enevlope?

I use two stamps, and I've never had a problem
I've even used a 60 cent stamp and never had a problem...

I would use 60 cents on each 9x12 envelope. There's not such postal rate as 74cents (37 + 37)
The postal rates go 37c. 60c. 83c..... So if you put in 74 you're wasting 14 cents.
