I wrote to David VV back in early August as i was told there was still plenty of time and i would most likely get a responce.
Maybe i am worrying to much but i have still not recieved an answer and have noticed replies from his agency have appeared recently.
Does anyone know if he has stopped VV?

I never got anything from him either - tried 3 times since early August. There are people that have received 5 successes from him VV so it is really strange.

I guess he's taking a break from RSC in Stratford and is currently back in London - that is why the recent successes from INDEPENDENT started to pop up. I guess I will try for the 4th time there.

EDIT: Did you use IRC or SASE? I have used IRCs and my secret hope is that he was just too busy to get the IRCs exchanged for stamps. Therefore he was replying only to letters with SASE and now that he's back in London he will send letters to people who had used IRCs.

EDIT 2: OK, according to RSC website, David Tennants is playing in Love's Labour's Lost at Stratford. So he can't be in London ATM.

I sent an SASE and a few IRC's just like i normally do. I was a little worried sending VV since ive never done it before. But if he is still at Stratford then maybe we both might get something eventually.

David is still in Stratford performing Hamlet and Loves Labours Lost and will be til Hamlet finishes and moves to London, where he'll be til mid January. His representatives asked that mail be sent to the Independant Talent Group address in London, to be forwarded on to him. Mail shouldn't be sent the VV address, so it's no surprise if it's no longer being responded to. You may get a reply, if you wait... David is kind like that. But maybe not.

I heard that David's agent had requested that no more requests be sent to him via Hamlet. So I sent mine today via the Independent Talent Group Ltd address.

Same here i sent mine long before his agent asked them not to be sent VV. I was only asking for one for my friends birthday present and thats it so i hope i get something eventually. I didnt want to bother him

I've rarely seen any David success's since shean got his letter telling him to stop writing.

I wrote to David 2 days before the announcement so in my opinion it's been lost. But its wierd how a couple of you didn't get a reply so It could be to do with the actions of the above

I hope it isnt the case but i guess ill leave it a bit longer since i live in Australia and sometimes mail takes a bit longer to get here. If it hasnt arrived ill try his agent like i should of in the 1st place. But im just disapointed that certain people have ruined it because they become obessive.

I know an american got a reply quite quick and she used Stamps. Maybe I can help
