Hi, you will need to find out at your post office how many IRC tokens are required for your envelope depending on weight and size. For the outside of the envelope you will also need to have this weighed at the post office so they can give you the exact amount of airmail stamps needed.

Good luck!

So if it was just a standard Small photo would it be 1 IRC on the S.A.E And 3 1st Class on the front?

Again, you need to check the weight too, not just the size. The best way to send anything airmail is to get it weighed at the post office. It's usually 2 IRC, I think. But again, that'll depend on the weight.

Any particular reason you posted a new topic on this though, when you had the other one? Try not to duplicate topics, it doesn't half make the place look untidy :)

I normally just put 2 1st class stamps, not 3, on the letter I'm sending to the US and it always gets there because I do get replies.

And thanks for all your posts :)

I'm not sure about 2 second class, I've never tried it but it definitely works with 2 1st class. I'm not sure if 2 second class equals the postage to the USA.

I'm from the UK and today I send a request to Miley Cyrus. I included a letter, 2 pictures, 3 IRC and an addressed envelope (NOT STAMPED). At the Post Office the lady weighed the parcel and put some Air Mail stamps on it. It cost £1.99.

Hope this has helped! x

Remember to get an airmail sticker to put on the front of the envelope. It's best to get it weighed at the post office because you don't want to risk not putting enough on.

Im from the UK and when I sent to Miley Cyrus I got it weighed at the post office and that cost about £1.20 and I added 3 IRC's (it would probly work with 1 IRC tho!)

Hope this has helped!
