Postage and pictures Questions

I am new to the world of autograph collecting. I was wondering about postage. If you send a SASE Manila Envelope along with a handwritten letter in the hopes of getting a picture, what is the appropriate postage to put on the return envelope? (Within USA) Will a regular stamp or 2 cover it? Also, what is the most polite way to ask for a picture without seeming like that is all you are writing them for? All suggestions greatly appreciated!

Stamps for the manila envelope that you want the celebrity to put a signed photo in (also called a SASE on this forum) will need at least 2 first class stamps. Correct price on usps.com is 0.83, minimum.
