Help!! i want to start buying SASES in my country!!

hey!!
i'm not from usa, so i reckon i do have Self address stamped envelopes in my country.
but are they envelopes you put in a different envelope you are sending??
or are they stickers that you put on a envelope (like normal stamps)??
also, how much would they cost if you bought a pack?? i have always been sending my letters with $2 stamps to usa, uk etc.
and would i have to buy bigger envelopes?? even if i'm not sending photos??
please help, i really want to start sending SASE!!

I think you're confused. An SASE is just a regular envelope that you write your own address on ("self addressed") and then either put stamps on to cover the return journey (stamps from the recipient's country) or you include IRC (International Reply Coupons) in the outside envelope with your letter, that the recipient then exchanges for stamps in their country.

So you have your envelope with the recipients address on, inside that goes your letter & any photos you're sending, as well as another envelope with your address on. Stuck on that are foreign stamps for the return journey. If you can't find those, you also include IRC in the main envelope.

on your SASE or SAE you write your name in the top left hand corner as well as in the Middle of the envelope, so the envelope comes back to you!
