Envelope size

I plan to send an 8x10 pic and a Self addressed envelope. what size should the Self addressed envelope and the outside envelope be?

I'd recommend using 9x12 for both the SASE and the outside envelope. I fold my SASE in half so it fits and then when they (hopefully) respond they unfold it and it's good to go!

9 x 12 for the SASE. 11 x 14 for the envelope to the celebrity. The 9 x 12 I don't fold. I include a sheet protector with one or two pieces of cardboard along with the photo (in the sheet protector.) Both envelopes front and back I label 'DO NOT BEND' (which is why I don't fold the SASE.) Celebrity opens it up, reads the LOR, slides out the photo, signs it, slips it back into the sheet protector, slides that into the SASE and back to you.
I also prefer the self-sealing envelopes rather the ones with the clasp.
