just a quick question

i read all about SASE's and sending them increases your chances of receiving a reply
i was wondering.....what size of envelope do you sedn your LOR and what size of SASE do you send along with it.

it was really confised on wether or not to send a regular letter envelope with another inside it.....

I send my LOR and SASE in a 10x13in envelope. My SASE is 9x12in.

Oh, about sending a regular letter envelope inside another envelope, I would recommend not to.
Since the pictures I usually receive are 8x10, the envelope should be large enough for a 8x10in picture.
The only exception I can think of is if you send your own picture that would fit in your SASE.

I usually send my own photos, and my photos are usually 4x6, so I use envelopes/SASEs that can fit my 4x6.
But if you aren't including your own photo, it's best to send a SASE that can fit 8x10, as quite a few celebrities send 8x10 sized photos

I usually send the 9x12 envelopes I get from Staples. They usually fit since celebs don't sent photos larger than 8x10s

I'm not sure if this is relevant to what you are asking but I have found that if my envelope is too small for the celebrity to enclose their picture, they tape it to the front of a larger envelope. So the stamps I put on it are not going to waste That's only relevant if you were worrying about it being too small though lol.
