If I don't send a photo how much would that hinder me from receiving a reply? Because my mom doesn't want me printing out pics of the celebrity so... if I told them how I'm sorry I couldn't send a photo but I would love an autograph....

In my opinion sending pictures generally doesn't increase or decrease your chances of receiving an autograph. {thumb2}

An exception would be the celebrities that don't send pictures, very few.
Best thing to do when deciding to send a picture or not (well, what I do .)
Check before you send, in their feedback, if everyone sent a picture.

The majority of celebrities have their own pictures to send. I have never actually received a picture back signed to a celebrity I have sent one to. If you can't print pictures then just send an index card for them to sign just in case they can't provide a picture.

It depends on the celeb. Some only sign if you send something, otherwise you'll get a PP. If you send VV you should send a pic as they likely wont have one. For the most part celebs have their own pics, but its worth checking previous feedbacks before sending to make sure.

So far I have only sent photos to via venue requests and Mark Wahlberg, as he's one of the rare celebrities who only signs photos sent to him. {thumb2} I have never had any problems receiving replies whatsoever. I actually prefer the photos the celebrity sends out, as I'm always looking forward to what the photo would look like. As previous posts said, just make sure which of your favourite celebrities supply their own photos, otherwise, just send an index card.

Another thing you can do Skye is, To include a colored index card with each request. That way in case the celeb doesn't have a photo to send you, they can still sign the IC. And IC's are WAY cheap. A pack of 100 3x5's cost like $2.00. So yeah, there's another idea for ya!
