I'm sorry, I don't know which forum I should post this in or if it has been asked and answered.
When you send a letter requesting an autograph via a website (not their official website) who is it addressed to? ex. Michael Phelps successes through the Omega and Speedo website.

ex. Michael Phelps?
.......

Dear ________,
...... please pass this letter on to Michael Phelps.....

or Dear _______,
please have Michael Phelps send me an autograph

try finding their official website...or website of the company they work for....
you may be sending an email to the "owner" of a fan site...so you dont know if it will get to them

save time and your adrenaline and find a better "mor official" address

Celebrities are rarely ever on the receiving end of the webforms or emails featured on their websites. So just address your request in the following way : 'Dear Sir or Madam' - that's the one I use, because you don't know whose reading your request on the other side. {up}

"to whom ti may concern" is another option.
