Hi DominicCoopergirl :D

Welcome to the forum!

You can find a list of autograph abbreviations here if you aren't sure of some of the abbreviations used.

SAE: Self addressed envelope
SASE: Self addressed, stamped envelope
IRC: International reply coupon

When you send your request to Dominic, you should send either a SASE (if you can get British stamps), or send a SAE and IRC with your request.

A IRC is a coupon which you send along with your request. Dominic will be able to use the coupon to exchange for British stamps to stick on your SAE and send something back to you.

So, when sending a request you should send your letter, a photo (optional) and a SASE or SAE and IRC(s).

You should be able to get IRC's at post offices, although not all places stock them (as for an "international reply coupon" as if you ask for an IRC the staff member may not understand what you are asking for).

Good luck!

Thanks, nowandagian. How much does an IRC cost? What happens if my post office has no IRC what should I do?

If you don't have access to any UK stamps or IRC's, you could try sending money ($). {up} About $1 should do the trick, just make sure it is packaged safely in your envelope so your mail doesn't get stolen.

Good luck!!
