Sending from US to UK

Hi there! I was wondering, do you have to have british stamps to send from the US to Uk? Or the air mail envelope? Cause I am writing to Robert Pattinson, and I was originally gonna send to the Uk address after my other topic, but would it be okay just to send in a regular 10x13 envelope with US stamps on it? I know this Q is sorta odd, you could say; but I'm jw.
Thanks! {thumb2}

No - you just go to any post office and they will give you a little customs form to fill out and attach to the outside - US postage works just fine. As far as returning postage TO the USA from the UK - not sure. Ask the Post Office when you go - they can tell you. Good luck!

you don't even need the customs form, just find out how much postage you need to get it to the UK stick it on there and you're good. As far as return some people use IRCs so use cash but I have stamps from other countries that I use.

What you have to do is on the letter TO the celebrity you have to put US stamps (check usps.com for the exact amount but FYI you will need more stamps than you would if you are sending to an address in the US), but on the SASE you need UK stamps or some IRCs.
If it's just an envelope you probably won't need a customs form unless it is very heavy.

Best wishes for your letter.

Okay thanks! I'm just gonna used the LA address. I dont have time to go to the post office. I'll just wait for some more letters I want to send to the UK, so I can go to the post office in one day.
