Okay So I rarely even post here but I was wondering

Some celebrities send Me Envelopes they used the machine to stamp. I had one from Savannah Outen and the Postage said it would cost 1.17!!!! Why is that?

Anyways I only put Two stamps on my 9x12 envelopes- is that enough??

(Funny Story: I got really mad at my self when I got two stamps- put one on the envelope as well as the other and I forgot the SASE! Now my CD booklets from Hilary Duff are gone forever! :( ) Any advice on that? <---

i think that if you are worried about not getting it back, send out 3 stamps on it.

I always put the same amount of postage on the SASE as the original envelope - same size, of course.

$1.17 is the price for 3 ounces. Did she send more than one photo? 2 stamps would cover one ounce which is just a 8X10 photo-no cardboard.

I always put more rather than less. Is saving 30 cents really worth wondering if you will get it back or not? I remember a few years ago when stamps changed price and went up by 2 cents. I had sent out 40-50 requests for basketball players autographs on cards with a regular sized SASE. When I heard the price of stamps went up I called the post office to ask if they still get delivered and I can just pay the 2 cents when I pick them up and was told that they just get thrown away. I can only imagine the signatures of mine that got thrown away simply over 2 cents instead of just letting me pay upon delivery....what a joke!

As far as the one you already sent hopefully they will notice and add postage for you. I have had a few people do that in the past.

WOW! I have had envelopes delivered with "Postage due" on it-- throwing it away seems a bit extreme--but I don't think it is normal postoffice policy.

Two stamps is enough.
For the Hilary Duff thing... well, maybe she will see you sent out booklets, and she might pay for postage. After all celebs do make lots of money sometimes. Just try to forget that you sent them.... then if they do come back youll be like "Yay! I forgot I sent these!!" Just try to forget about them. :) Thats really all the advice I have for it. And I got a savannah pic too. (2 of them 1 for me and my friend) in they same envelope and i would say it only would of had to have 2 stamps... but she had that sticker thing for postage. LOL. idk what it is called. Good Luck with everything! :D
