Pre-Printed Envelopes... help!

Unread post by starman »

hello everyone,
i just started collecting autographs, and I have just begun to send letters..
I've a question:
In order to save time I decided to print the adresses from my computer and to glue them on the envelop.
Since I do that, do I Have less possibilities to get a reply?

thanks!

There's nothing wrong with doing that - it won't have an effect on whether you get a success or not at all. {up}

When I see a printed envelope, it looks like you have a batch of addresses that you are sending to. I always hand write my envelopes, because it is more personal. Some people might see this as you just trying to get as many autographs and you want, and being lazy... not a "true" fan that deserves anything back. Or maybe that is just how I see it...

Honestly, I don't think you are saving much time by doing this.

Think about it. You have to type or copy & paste the addresses into whatever program you are using to print them, load the paper or labels, click print, wait for it to print...

It takes maybe 30 seconds (if even) to write an address on an envelope.

Now, on the other hand, I could understand this is your handwriting was really really really horrible.
