HELP! Sending from US to Australia

okay so im hoping to send something vv to australia and i need help.
ive NEVER sent anything internationally beforee.

I have soo many questions.

What envelope do i have to use? Can i just use the regular 6 x 9 that i normally use?
How many stamps do i need to put on it? Can i use forever stamps?
What do i put on the return envelope?
And i read that you should put AIR MAIL stickers on it, but i cant find any, are Priority Mail Stickers the same thing?

You can use any envelope you want.

You will need more stamps than normal. How much does it weigh? What are you sending? You will need at least 0.94 in stamps, maybe more.

What do i put on the return envelope?

Leave the SASE with just your address. If you have Austrailian stamps that is great otherwise you will need IRCs. I usually WRITE "Airmail" on it because I don't have stickers.

kay so i got ircs.

im sending a 6x9 envelope with my letter, 2 pages, a sase folded up, 5 regular 4x6 photos (sending for a lot of people lol).
how many stamps should i put on the sending envelope, i was thinking 4, do i need more?

Also how many IRCs for the return voyage?

What size is your SASE? 6x9?

If it is 6x9 plus the stuff you mentioned, I did a weight check and all that should weigh 2 ounces. I checked the usps site and it said you will need $1.74 in postage.

As for IRCs, I don't use them much but I think 2 or 3 should be enough

ill put about 4 stamps on the envelope and ill include 2 ircs, luckily my dad got me 2 when i asked for 1 haha!
