IRC Question

Hey everyone,

I have a question about IRCs regarding this post: http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 17&t=14171.

I plan on writing to some people in Europe. So, do I simply put a self-addressed envelope (with IRCs attached to front and picture placed inside self-addressed envelope) inside the package along with a letter? I feel rather stupid for asking this, but in the diagram, do the red squares represent American stamps on the "fanmail letter"? In other words, should I put American stamps or IRCs on the package when I send them out?

Also, must I remember to have the post office stamp the IRCS? Thanks.

Hello there LaneLS88 {up}

When it comes to an IRC -

1. Get these stamped by your local Post Office otherwise they are not valid

2. Write an envelope with your address on and place inside the envelope to the celeb

3. Put the IRC's (you will need two) inside the envelope, or paperclip them to your letter

4.When posting the package to the Celeb, use American stamps otherwise the package will be rejected by the USPS

Any questions?

Hi!

Sorry for the question but maybe I missunderstood what you wrote.
Do you day that the IRC must be stamped in the Post Office?

When you purchase a IRC, make sure the post office where you purchase it from stamps the box on the left hand side of the IRC:

This is just to ensure that the post office where the IRC is redeemed will accept the IRC.

When the IRC is redeemed, the post office clerk will stamp the box on the right hand side to cancel the IRC.

Note: some countries will accept IRC's that do not have a stamp on the left hand side.

Hi!

I asked the post office once to tamp the IRc but they said that only those have to stamp it who will use it.
