Index Cards vs Photos Question

Happy Sunday all!

This is my first post so thanks for replying..

After a 10 yr hiatus I have the itch to start sending out requests again.

The question I have is do celebs have a tendency to sign photos moreso over index cards or vice versa(provided both have had SASE's)? Or does it really not matter to them?


Any feedback would be great!

i think it does not matter to the celebs what they sign.........most of them just want to sign as fast as possible but i would think it would be nice to send a photo to them instead of a index card. index card is blank and not really nice looking. some celebs do not need a sase but it helps them to reply faster

First off, welcome to the board!

I've been at a draw with this lately. I'm new to this, and IDK what's better. Index cards require less postage (no 8' 10's, no fancy searches, etc...). Photos are nicer IMO, and if you're wondering which autographs you have, you're like "OH! That's Robbie from that show Over There..."

And SASEs aren't really 'required' but it DOES help them reply faster.

Some will only sign photos and refuse to sign index cards. Others wont sign anything you send, and will send their own photo. Best thing to do is to research the celeb you're sending to and look at their habits.

Yes they are. Only a small percentage reply without one.

It depends on who you send to. I have sent some photos, got them signed but no index card back.

Of all my success- I only have ONE SASE returned. It really depends on who you send too
