Photo Printing help?

I've never sent out an autograph before, and there was this really awesome picture I want printed out, but my problem is, when I insert the glossy paper in, it damages the printer...is there a reason for this? I have a bulky LaserJet 5P. Is it because of my printer? Thanks so much if you answer. =D This has been a problem for quite a long time.

If you respond, thanks so much! ^_^

Hi Linda,

If you have access to a Flash Drive, Save the photo onto that and take it to your local wal-mart store and have it printed their. {thumb2} Once I started using wal-mart I've never gone back to using my own home printer. You get WAY better quality with a professional photo service and the cost is very reasonable.

Hope this helps. {thumb2}

I don't know if maybe that's the best printer to use. Order them here from a member, or wal mart as Ryan said :)

There are a variety of things it could be...

The main thing I could think of is to check that the printer paper is compatible with your printer.
i.e) Is the paper meant for ink jet printers? Is the paper's weight compatible with the printer? Is the size of the paper compatible?

I once tried printing pictures on a photo paper I found lying around, and my printer acted up very bad.

Thanks! Argh. That's probably it. I don't know, this is a version from the beginning 1990's or something. XD

(-: I'll try to get it printed at Wal-Mart. ^^

On mine, I have to use thin photo paper, instead of the nice hard stuff :)
